I like Slime, but it’s crazy that it does Doraemon numbers.

It's actually doing pretty awful, about half what Frieren was on the same timeslot, and Slime is a much more popular series in Japan than Frieren is (it's literally the best-selling LN series ever).

Yeah, I definitely got the vibe the author is more at home with the fun worldbuilding and hijinks of the second half than trying to contrive fights and conflict that don't even really matter.

If someone has been following the TV rankings pre-2010 then they know this is disgusting to look at. Anywho, about that Kinnikuman success someone stated because they have no standards.
