Yona is one of the best ongoing Shojo manga. I’ll be sad to see it go, but I’m confident the author will stick the landing.

Sequel for the anime would be nice, but I guess chances are low...

Finally! My top favorite from her is NG Life.
I haven't read her other Manga yet, except for most one-shots.

I put this Manga on hold in Volume 7.
Since the start, Yona's mature state change from trauma in character as a teen felt ridiculous and off putting to see for how unrealistic it all is.
I haven't gotten past it yet. I can't take her seriously, so this story wasn't very intriguing, along with an immature bad boy tsundere guard.

I can't wait for her to do something better.
Even though I do plan to binge this to completion one day as a fan.

I absolutely love this manga and have all the volumes. I enjoyed the anime and this is definitely one story that should have an animated follow up. I liked how they kept to the manga with the first anime and hope someday they'll do a second season.

Love this manga and will be sad once it ended. Definitely onfe of the best shoujo manga out there in terms of story and character development. I would love to have a second season of the anime or a reboot and cover the entire manga but that's a far fetch dream.

Is there a reason why the anime adaptation has not continued? It's one of the few series that genuinely deserved more seasons.

Yeah, to see all the stage plays listed at the end of the article really says a lot. That is where the money is. Hence why I am not hopeful a S2 will be made. But man, wouldn't it be nice to get a S2.....

Yes. Would be nice if it was license-rescued.

As much as I've been enjoying Yona, at the same time I was starting to wonder if it was starting to round out to anything.

Almost hard to believe we're finally at the final arc. I can't wait to see how it concludes.

Also hope they finally do a new season of the anime.

It feels so bittersweet seeing this end after following it actively for over 10 years ;; I do hope we get a manga box set once it finishes though...!

I believe Kusanagi will give us an ending we can be happy with.

Also curious about this. Would be nice if it were just because they ran out of material, and now that it's closing out, could be revisited...

Nah, there was plenty of materials even when S1 was being made. But I don't think it made a lot of money as an anime, or at least fast enough for the investors to keep caring.

I enjoyed the Yona anime. Its been 9 years since the anime ended. Obviously, there's always a chance for a 2nd season to happen because it has before. Yona home video sales were average. 1st volume sold 4,011. Then it was in the low 3000's for volume 2-3. The rest of the volumes were in the high and low 2000's.

The latest chapters have been very heartbreaking. I hope it ends on a sweet note.
