Wonder if Gonzo will return. Afaik, they haven't made anything since the Phantasy Star Online 2 anime in 2019-2020.

I doubt so, they seem now have a skeleton staff. I tried looking around to see if they've been active in anything. All I found was that they have been promoting their shows merchandise on their website.

YES, this is excellent news. I still have Kakuriyo in my queue on CR because I go back to it from time to time for a rewatch. I can’t wait for more.

This is fantastic news, I've been hoping for a second season but wasn't sure we'd ever get one. I love this show and I hope they bring back alot of the original cast too.

Unfortunately the manga version of this show is published by Tokyopop. I just can't go there anymore.

Studio Kai will probably do it as they were helping for Phantasy Star Online 2 since likely Gonzo's staff moved there.
