Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan's Island manga links to the movie, but the manga it is an official spin-off of Origin and does not officialy tie in with the movie (which is not officially mentioned to be in the Origin continiuty).

What the heck are you smoking, Kodansha? There are so many other titles that the fandom is clamoring for and you pick one of the most random, obscure titles you could? Yikes.
I swear, official releases are utterly doomed for the ENG fandom. Between Denpa's horrendous Beltorchika's Children releases, Viz's sluggish reprint (if at all) pace for Thunderbolt, and Vertical's phoned-in Glory of Losers version, it's like the publishers don't even care... and fans wonder why they have to rely on scanlations. |
