I was losing hope for this.
A real gem of a series and a very low frame and budget affair for Mappa.
Fel has perfect casting.

Huh... neither of these claims are really true.
I doubt the specific investment in it was skyhigh, but it's the only production they have besides CSM to be a solo-funded project, without a committee, and going out of your way to finance all of the production of an anime with your own money is rare, specially when most studios do not have money to even be on the committee at all.
And what is "low frame affair" even supposed to mean? If anything, Campfire Cooking is surprisingly really consistent with art and animation, even outside of cooking, despite it being made by theoretically MAPPA's most "modest" team.

This was one of my favorite underrated shows of last year and I'm glad to see the dub is coming out and it has a pretty solid cast.

I had a lot of friends who liked this…I had honestly assumed it was already dubbed.

I'm kind of surprised that the English dub is coming out just now, Crunchyroll premiered the Neutral Spanish back on June of last year, though the recording began in April. The dub was pretty good I must say, it was dubbed in Mexico City, but Mukōda was voiced by Iván Fernández, who mainly works in Cuernavaca, where he voiced caharcters like Death the Kid in Soul Eater, Shinichi Sakurai in Uzaki-chan and Shaddiq Zenelli in Gundam G-Witch. Fel was voiced by Gerardo Vásquez, who is well known for voicing Meowth and the narrator in Pokémon and Megatron in various Transformers projects.

Every season you guys get 1 or 2 shows dubbed in LATAM Spanish and not in English.
Same goes for several of the other languages as well. Nothing to be surprised by at this point

An honest to goodness backlog dub! With a fantastic cast! Awesome!
I wonder if they only do backlog dubs in less intensive seasons?

Kinda surprised this is getting dubbed this late into the game, but you'll hear no complaints from me! This series was the true sleeper hit isekai last year what with its blend of comfort food porn and endearing cast. I see no issues with the casting choices for the dub here either, and I am really looking forward to Jonah's take on Fel. My only concern is who is going to be cast as Sui, because the bar has been set impossibly high with Hina Kino's performance of the most adorable slime in recorded anime history.
