Cool. Cool. But please stop killing characters for the shock factor. This year was brutal as heck

Usually it should be a sad new but it's clear that he grew tired of his own work so for JJK's sake and Gege himself's sake, the faster it will end from now on the better.

Gege should just quickly end the series by killing everyone off

The second season of the anime is a triumph for mainstream shounen series. Cinematography and animation quality in addition to gripping story made the second season one of the best action anime of all time in my eyes. I'm glad he won't drag it out unnecessarily just for using its popularity to earn easy money.

Well said! I used to adore this series, but after the conclusion of The Shibuya Incident it's been on a steady decline, and the current arc is one of the worst to come out of modern shounen, imo. The amount of plot holes and the number of actually well-written characters being killed or casually sidelined for the sake of saving/glorifying characters who are far more poorly written is kind of shocking, considering what an excellent start it had.

I hope that Satoru and Nobara return and we get the answers from many questions too.

People have short memories. He said the same thing last year, this doesn’t prove anything.

I appreciate that even though the series has achieved such massive popularity, he's ready to end it on his own terms instead of dragging it out. There's too many Jump manga which got popular and then just kept going and going long after the story felt like it should have ended. I don't know if that was due to editorial pressure or the choice of the authors, but it doesn't seem to happen quite as much anymore, which is a welcome thing.

Now I really believe that Gege had a ghostwriter and was his first editor.

Gege might have gotten it done this year if the manga didn´t skip every 4th issue but no one deserves to live in that deadline hell. I would be shocked if the manga lives past summer 2024 as a conclusive ending feels right around the corner.
I don´t care for their writing and am only there for MAPPA´s animation but I must admit that the recent comedy fight was a masterpiece. The upcoming idol manga might not be a bad idea.

The problem is that it keeps losing its' interesting characters, and not replacing it with something better. I'm all for characters dying (Neiji, Jiraiya, Itachi are perfect examples), but you need a big enough interesting cast left over in order to pull it off. Or you just have to make sure you end the manga quickly. Gege just didn't have enough proper planning before hand. So it is actually kind of good it is ending with this last arc. At this point, I believe Gege will kill all 4 OG Main characters, with everyone else looking over their graves, reflecting how the saved the world.
