Personally i would love an Outlanders reprint by Dark Horse. What gives me hope is the fact Dark Horse re-used the Studio Proteus translation for the Fat Cat collections of What's Michael along side the fact Dark Horse still lists Outlanders on their website.
https://www.darkhorse.com/Search/Browse/Outlanders/PpwNwkt8 The last volume has been published almost 25 years ago with all 8 becoming out of print shortly after. [/u] |

Well, it wouldn't be Outlanders as I already have all eight volumes and the comic book version of that series. I suppose if Dark Horse brought it back unflipped it would be worth a rebuy. It would have to be in the 6 1/2 by 10 1/4 inches format as the original as that artwork needs space.
I have several I'd like to see come back, any of these would be welcome. Mobile Police Patlabor: Viz did two slim volumes out of 22. Three X Three Eyes: Dark Horse only did 9 volumes out of 40 You're Under Arrest: Dark Horse did two volumes of excerpts out of 7 volumes Ghost Hunt: Del Rey did 10 out of 12 volumes before selling out. VB Rose: Tokyo Pop did 10 out of 12 volumes before they pulled the plug on manga. This is just the one's that come to mind easily. There are a lot of series that I was enjoying that were abandoned by the U.S. licensor or were incomplete when they went out of business. |

I am slightly jealous you have Outlanders as i was only able to legally read it once when i was a young child being dropped off at my babysitter's who let me read any comic he had as a form of shutting me up. Also you made some very good picks & I also have several others i'd also want:
Area 88, Cobra, Getter Robo GO (which was stupidly renamed VENGER ROBO) from VIZ which as far as i know were only in comic book form. City Hunter: from Raijin/Gutsoon went defunct after translating 5 volumes of 35. Jiraishin a.k.a. Ice Blade which was dropped after 3 volumes of 19 by Tokyopop during their brief time as MIXX. Ironfist Chinmi which had 12 volumes with volume 13 & 14 being announced as coming soon at the end of volume 12 but never did (it is unknown if they dropped it or lost the licence) out of 35 which was being translated from 1994-1996 which is noteworthy where it was translated by a British company named Bloomsbury & as it interestingly was published right to left which as far as i know excluding bilingual versions makes Chinmi the first to do so I own the latter 2 translations in their incomplete form with Ice Blade being very cheap to obtain while Chinmi is somewhat expensive due to shipping costs to North America |
