On one hand, excited to find out more about elusive samurai anime. On the other hand, I’m worried since many Aniplex shows have had production issues

This is a Japanese-centric event, not a convention in North America. Why would you think that they would have English dub announcements? This is Aniplex (the big dog), not Aniplex of America (Jey Uso).

Most of the cast from the anime's dub had better return for this movie, especially Cassandra Lee Morris. Her dub voice for Kyubey introduced me to her work. And coming to think of it, I also think she'd be a good English voice for Tama if the Tama and Friends anime from the '90s got a new dub. I thought I'd mention that show because like Madoka, it's an Aniplex title (their earliest license long before the Aniplex name was even used), and the art style is very misleading due to how dark some of the storylines are.
