Well, I suggest http://www.allcombat.com for the stuff they have for all cosplay. They sell alot of good kendo stuff that happens to allow you to be a good generic samurai, as well as generic ninjas. Generic ninjas are fun when you do it as a group and gang up on main characters as a random encounter.

Yeah, at heart Inu Yasha's outfit is rather generic, just a red kendo suit with some alterations and a white shirt under it.
