It's been fun rereading Blue Box as the volumes come out. I don't really think the under one roof trope is completely necessary for the story (current spoilers) spoiler[and it ends up being abandoned for a while too], but I think BB handles it better than most series would. We do get inside Chinatsu's head eventually, but I don't remember how far in since I caught up a while ago.
The art is by far my favorite part of the manga though, it's a shame the color pages are in grey scale in the volumes |
