I still have my doubts that this will be good, the Otaku culture of the Reiwa Era (and very late Heisei Era) is not the best, primarily when it comes to anime, LNs, and games, just way too much has changed since 1999 and quite a bit for the worst. I wish this aired like 10 years ago, when the state of Otaku culture wasn't such a mess.

Yeah. Gacha gaming has taken over and I'm not sure if I like that.

Well, we can always stick to the original if the new material sucks... xD
Even without a time jump reboot, the original DiGi Charat is the one that always stuck for me anyways... I didn't watch many of the specials that came after it.
I'm glad that the original team is getting back together though... hopefully a fun project for them.

I met Koge Donbo years ago at a convention and I'll be happy to support this as she was a very nice person.
Maybe there will be a few more Di Gi Charat LINE sticker sets? I use the Rabi set often.

Another new character is Brocco-desu (she was mentioned in an earlier press release as the goddess of broccoli). This reboot is essentially a promotional project for the collaboration between Bushiroad and Broccoli, but something that was not really a thing back when Digi Charat was created is the trope of anthropomorphising everything like ships, swords, countries and in this case companies with the Bushiroad girl.
BTW if one is addressing Brocco-desu would you say Brocco-desu-san or Brocco-san (or sama)? In Japanese one uses "desu" to introduce themselves but is that actually part of her name?

Broccoli huh? Should've gotten Roko from Dropout Idol Fruit Tart to promote that! Lol

If you don't mind me asking can you clarify things a bit? I'm interested in hearing your thoughts on this.

It has gotten stale as hell, the problem is the obvious for all 3 categories mentioned, oversaturation of isekai in anime and LNs and gacha mechanics in games, cheapening them to all hell (also a lack of innovation in all of them), there is some good though and that's Vtubers although if you look into the history of them it's way older than you think (like mid to late 90's old depending on where you live, in fact even the West had a crack at it in the late 90's), so it's more of a huge evolution of virtual talent than a new concept.

I see. Can't say I agree with all of that, but I definitely agree with the anime part.
