I don't understand why using 3D CGI EVERYWHERE. It looks horrible.

This looks so cool. Nihei may not have the best writing in the world, but they always know how to make really cool and interesting world. This anime is reminding me a lot of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, which is one of my favorite games. I hope this ends up being good. For now I'm very interested

That's a pretty all-star cast. Hosoya and Rie Takahashi reunite after the Haunted Hotspring anime.

Also kind of surreal to see Hosoya can still play earnest youth male leads.

He voiced Alfred in Hortensia Saga also.

I remember a few months back, Crunchyroll published an article showing Polygon’s attempts to improve their 3D tech to better mimic 2D animation. I guess this will be our first look at that technology in action.
