Yeah, I'm not expecting any of the Friday or Saturday anime to air this week. They are gonna be doing 24/7 coverage of this Abe assassination.

I wouldn't be surprised either. Abe's assassination is like... really major news.

If they plan to de-schedule animes for these next 2 days, I hope they will just postpone them rather than cancellations or at least stream them outside of Japan like what happened with Kabaneri and the earthquake while it was airing and some other similar case ( They might have just been leaked though ).

that's not even airing this summer season, the second half airs in October. It might impact the manga though

It's understandable, I just want to know, and I'm asking this in the respectful way possible, will this incident severely affect the anime and video game industry in Japan, in terms of the depiction of violence and weapons? I remember hearing that the sarin subway attacks from 1995 afected some shows like Evangelion

I think it's understandable that they do this. You can imagine what it was like when John F. Kennedy was assassinated. At the time,there were only three networks,so it wasn't a surprise that they'd do that. It's similar here. I'm not surprised they're doing this. Not at all.
