Spreadsheet updated. I do not in the least expect this show to be good, but it'll be interesting as an artifact of 2011, when I don't think so many Narou stories were doing the things that have become commonplace since, with slave waifus and gamelike-but-not-a-game settings. And this was the highest-scoring story on the site before Mushoku Tensei took the crown sometime in the second half of 2013.
Now if we could only get an anime of The Ideal Sponger Life...

yeah, its absolutely awful. it will be fun seeing people trying to defend this assuming someone even tries.
there is no ". the mc dislikes slavery but knows he can't fight against it" or " the lc 8s damaged so he can only trust slaves", it's pure fetish fuel here

Funimation did that too.And this is one of the many reasons that concerned me once they merged.I mean,World End Harem is still avaliable censored,with no plans to have the uncensored version yet.
Sure,North America will be fine,they will release it on BD uncensored anyway.The rest of the world,though...

Since this became a point of confusion in an earlier thread: the toning-down happened when it first got published as a light novel. Shufunotomo, the publisher, removed the word "slave" from the WN title.

Unfortunately English localizations tend to censor out the word slave in works. It's a pretty common edit to see in manga and LNs.

The word "slave" isn't present in the LN title, it only was present on the WN's, the LN title is a bit different from the WN.

Interspecies Reviewers was unexpectedly more sexual than the manga and had broadcasters even in Japan dropping it over this. For the millionth time, it was NOT a Funimation specific situation.
The three levels of restriction makes it obvious and there's no way they could be blindsided. As far as I can tell, Interspecies never had multiple levels.
