Since this is an Ufotable adaptation, it's a must watch for me.

Chances are now even higher that SECOND TSUKIHIME ANIME will really happen.

Probably after Kimetsu no Yaiba is done. It's hard to imagine Ufotable letting go of the absolute cash cow that's KnY and Tsukihime just wouldn't work as a movie.

Ufotable's release schedule has been basically "tv series > movie", sometimes with some overlap (as was the case with Heaven's Feel and the KnY TV series). With that said, I see Mahoyo releasing next year, KnY S3 in 2023 and a KnY concluding movie (probably adapting the final parts of the last arc) in 2024.

So unless things are arranged very well, I don't think there's a TsukiRe anime before 2025. With some luck, that would mean it will release after Other Side of the Red Garden so there's a chance that an eventual anime would adapt one of the Far Side routes. But that's still a loooong way off.

I like Hollow Ataraxia but the fact that 80% of it is mostly slice of life, makes it hard for me to see it being adapted by uFotable but the openings they did for the hollow ataraxia PSVita version were very cool

Cool to see another adaption of the Nasu-verse! I'm sure a proper Tsukihime anime is coming in due time...

(Also, Haruka Tomatsu voiced Aoko in the remake, so I'm guessing she'll voice her in the movie?)

If anyone remembers Touko Aozaki from Garden of Sinners, Mahotsukai no Yoru focuses on her sister, Aoko, who is an influential character within the Tsukihime series. Will be interested in seeing this film whenever it comes out.

Could be someone else too, given the age difference.

EDIT:In fact, I could see whoever does it here being the one to play Aoko in Extra's remake.

I wonder, if it will lead to Nasu writing the planned second and third parts of VN at last.

True, but of anyone I could see Haruka Tomatsu effectively playing a character in their teenage and adult years.

I wonder if it will lead to the VN that did come out getting a more accessible release. Last I checked, it's only available as a physical disc for PC, which is basically unthinkable now that PC has moved so heavily to digital distribution, and comments surrounding the release of the Tsukihime remake suggest that TM want to target consoles for prestige releases.

10 year anniversary of Mahoyo is next year so this was a possible announcement.

I expected a Tsukihime Remake adaptation, but a Mahoyo adaptation is exciting too!
