A friend has often recommended it to me so I have been waiting for a localization or fantrad of the LN for a while, let's hope the anime announcement help speeding up a eventual localization, like Tsuki to Laika did.

Speaking of LNs, as much as it is popular to say that LN adaptations are annoying, and there is too much of them, at least from what little I read myself, I thought they themselves were written rather decent - that is, writers knew their ways with words, describing locations, history, characters, even "boring MC's" inner thoughts, and overall worldbuilding, and progress of the story, etc...

This is what is popular in Japan dudes, they will not only make what the ocident likes.
And this is a first isekai about an humam turning in a animal receiving an anime? (really don't know) so i am curious how it will be. |

"Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka?/So I'm a Spider, So What?" already has an anime, so it's not the first. |

This *is* what people in the West watch, more so than shows with arguably more merits.
So I’m a Spider, So What? is one – and the Slime show, if you want to count that as "animal". |

Called it.
Hopefully, an artbook is next for Tohsaka Asagi-sensei. |

NEVER!!! Not planning on watching this, but at least I got a laugh out of the absurdity of the title. Kind of like I Want to Eat Your Pancreas, but without the obligatory tragedy. |

This is a weird paragraph. It seems to imply that all people eating pig liver and then fall asleep get isekaied. And since the whole paragraph is phrased as "You will get transported to a fantasy world" it reads like its saying the audience is getting brought into the world. Maybe its just me but reading that paragraph caused a little cognitive dissonance as it didn't appear to be talking about the main character until the last sentence, instead was implying a generalisation about "the isekai story". |

I was gonna say that the premise, at least, sounds anything but generic. Except, well, if you leave out the part where he turns into a pig, this is a perfectly standard "boy dies, reincarnates in fantasy world with waifu." And most of the trailer seems to be him--the pig--trying to look up her skirt. So... yeah. Honestly feels like a "The Producers" situation, where something made as a joke, intended to go nowhere, somehow became successful. Like, obviously in an oversaturated genre you've gotta do something to stand out, but turning into a literal pig isn't most people's ideal fantasy... or is it? |
