Such a shame imo. Based on her performance as Yun, she definitely had the potential to succeed long-term.
That said, it's a tough industry, and I totally get why she wouldn't want to stick with it. I wish her all the best in wherever her career takes her in the future!

That makes sense. I'd be confused if she announced she was retiring as head pastry chef, or retiring her commission in the JSDF.

I wish her the best. Just looking at roles, I'm sure she expected more after her major debut, but it didn't work out after. Thank you for contributing to anime.

Retirement announcements are often written that way in Japan to leave open the possibility that the person will continue in other fields of entertainment.
