We didn't even know there would be another season for this anime until today.

Oh yes, my guilty pleasure anime that I surprisingly waited for every week (well, at least I didn't remember any annoying protagonist characters, that's rarity). Still I hope they could improve on some aspects in the second part.

So is 'second part' a second season or a second cour? Though not sure if it matters, I'm personally glad for this announcement.

The ending of the current cour was pretty unceremonious so I'm happy to hear they'll be a continuation.

And after the lack of Liscia in the last episode, I'm glad to see her front-and-center in the new key visual as well as showing her with Souma in the trailer. At the same time I'm still not really sold on her new hairstyle.

But hey, Inori Minase is doing the Opening again!

Nice! They should be able to go past where the manga is, so looking forward to seeing new content. (hopefully they pace it a bit better...)

I have nothing against short hair per se, I just don't think it fits Liscia.

It wasn't my top show. But hey, not a bad thing for it to keep going next year.

second part/half it was intended for a 2 cour probably but the schedule is below decent so probably why it's split cour

I think at this point these second parts are just split cours. We have more and more of these second parts these days, probably due to the impossible production cycles the studios operate under.

i always hate it when titles say the next cour premieres next January, because in my mind does this mean Jan 2022, which means this is doing split cours or Jan 2023 and it's taking a year and a half between cours. i wish they said premiering this coming January for or premiering January 2023.
