Ooh, now this is interesting! I only just got into Jiro Taniguchi's manga myself, and I hear France holds him in very high regard.

This is easily the best manga I've read. I know the movie won't reach that level, simply because nothing can match the art and atmosphere of Taniguchi's manga and also because it can't fit into 90 minutes, which means they had to cut content, but I'm still very excited to finally watch it and see how it's adapted. It does look pretty good.
