Question, i have a manga related podcast I'd like to promote on the forum, in the manga subform specifically. I didn't see a specific rule against self-promotion on the forum, but I wanted to double check with a moderator if at all possible if that sort of thing is frowned upon here.

My initial response is to say they are generally frowned upon. However, since it would be in the manga section which is relatively inactive, in comparison to the anime and talkback sections, I'll other staff for opinions and what would or would not be allowable.

Not staff, but from my observances, what it usually comes down to is if it's type A or type B.
Type A:
Type B:
A usually gets locked, B is more often okay. I usually see it come down to if it's encouraging discussion on ANN, vs just linking something or encouraging discussion off ANN. |

Dessa's response is correct - you can promote your show if you want but the thread needs to have some value and relevance to the forum beyond that.

Hi guys, I have a question, so, I'm from brazil, and I recently started a channel on Youtube (Player Lago), the content is in my native language (Portuguese). I was wondering if can I use your website to make some videos about the news in the anime world, could I? I'm asking before of course because I dont want any kind of trouble or break any kind of rule.
