I guess we're getting another tweet announcement in the middle of the week like Paper Mario and Pikmin.

It would be nice to see one of those games that Nintendo made that people like to have HD remaster, like Thousand Year Door or F-Zero GX.

On the other hand potential improvements?
The Joy Cons could be used, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was reworked for the controller.

The only bad thing about Skyward Sword was the forced motion controls. If they pull a Donkey Kong Country Returns DS and remove them for traditional controls, it would be great. But I can also see the joycons being used for those motion controls so I have doubts.

They should really do a Zelda pack & just release all the major games like this one, Twilight Princess, Wind Waker, etc. into one omega pack.

Finally a reason not to sell my Switch?
On a related note, I would love a Switch port of Wind Waker. Fantastic game, but the original GC version had some annoying issues (Triforce quest anyone? I shamelessly used a walkthrough for that), and I don't have or want a Wii U just to play the game again.

ABOUT TIME. Though I worry to what extent the controls will be reworked, as they were one of the best aspects of the game.

They are getting to be reworked. However doesn't the Switch do motion controls as well?

This is a very dumb idea, so I'm I'm inclined to believe it's true.
Skyward Sword isn't going to work without motion controls, and the Joycons can't do motion controls well in handheld mode, and are almost as bad docked.
Meanwhile they already have two lavishly-detailed HD Zelda games ready and waiting to be ported to Switch (and also XCX) that they're not doing anything with.
