Something positive for a change. Good for the watchers of that channel.

From what I’ve seen with there broadcasting records it does good over most of its broadcast the only ones is where it is fighting other shows like Detective Conan (shows with a dedicated following)

This debunks the whole "Even by japanese standards this series is not suitable for late night TV broadcast" sound bite that Funimation advocates keep repeating in forums.

Yeah, the most you could claim is that it's too much for particular cities. Claiming that Interspecies Reviewers was too much for Japan would be like assuming the moral standards of one state in the US applied to the whole United States.

That's exactly what folks are doing here... Claiming that the standards of one location are proof of the standards of an entire country.

Maybe they saw the projected pre-order numbers and wanted in on that slice of pie

Yeah, they were pretty high for such a niche series. It does its niche really well IMO, but still. I hope for a season 2; Volume 3 has some chapters that I would like to see animated.

This never was about regional standards since broadcast law applies to the whole country and even if there are regional laws (like the Tokyo Metropolitan Ordinance Regarding the Healthy Development of Youths), their implementation is applied before any episode is broadcast, not after (this is no live event where things outside the stablished script might happen).
In layman terms, yet again ye olde goal post moving to keep up with the narrative that Interspecies Reviewers is somehow at fault here and getting removed from the lineup is a sensible decision and not the knee jerk reaction of someone high in the echelon.

Good old Gifu, neighbor of Nagoya, where everyone sounds like cats, apparently. It's only possible to glean so much information from a three minute show.
