This is so exciting we're finally living in a world where Sailor Stars is dubbed in English. I never thought this day would come. So far I think I like Star Maker's VA the most out of the Starlights. I need to hear more of Healer and Fighter to have more of an opinion but I like them well enough so far. I'm also excited we have the rest the villains cast. Katie Leigh is the only one I'm really all that familiar with and I'm mostly familiar with her voice acting in American animation. She was in the Gummi Bears animated series. With all the villains cast, I guess Princess Kakyuu will be the last of the Viz dub VA announcements for the 90s anime. I wonder why they didn't announce her too but I guess they're waiting till it's closer to when part 2 comes out. I just can't wait to finally have Sailor Stars in my collection after all these years.

Or maybe I think the series hasn't aged well.
The only adaptations of the new dub I liked so far was the movies.

Tin Nyanko and Princess Kakyu don't debut until Part 2, so I figured we wouldn't get their VAs until then. Glad they went ahead and announced Nyanko, but it's weird they left Kakyu out.

I'm excited for Faye as Siren, and Katie as Iron Mouse is a really cool choice. Not familiar with Lead Crow or Tin Nyanko's VAs though, so not sure what to expect there. I'm a little disappointed since I was hoping Megan Hollingshead or Colleen Villard would get a major role in Stars, but I guess there's still a chance one of them could be Princess Kakyu.

As for the dub clip, it's surreal hearing an official English dub of Stars after all these years. It sounds pretty good too, even if the Starlights are more feminine than I expected. (Guess they only do the androgynous voices for their male forms?)

While I'm familiar with the Sailor Stars cast, I'm gonna give them a chance. And it is about time Sailor Stars is getting an official US release, not just as fansubs now.
