This series is that bad that the best part of it is when they adapt offshoots of Naruto.

LMAO
so they adapt the "Naruto: Konoha Shinden: Yukemuri Ninpōchõ" novel that sets before "Naruto: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring" after they already adapted "Naruto: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring"? great management of timeline dumbasses!

the only time its been good so far is when they adapted what kish wrote. Watching boruto is like watching the long filler arc in the original naruto (140-220 episodes or whatever it was)... the difference in the quality of writing is quite ridiculous.

Personally I'm enjoying Boruto substantially more than its parent series. For one, the main protagonist didn't start out as an insufferable git. It's also done a commendable job of demonstrating exactly why shounen leads make for absolutely abysmal parents.

The anime might have a lot of mediocre arcs with a few bright spot, but at least it's pretty solid overall and develops it's cast properly.
That makes it vastly superior to the godawful Boruto-manga.
As for the LN-adaptation:
Some proper Mirai-screentime is very appreciated. One of the more interesting and easily the most underused next-gen character.

Well Boruto himself kinda starts out kind out as an ass.
Thought that can be blamed at his then daddy issues being an annoying plot line for both parties.

While Naruto could indeed be a better dad (I am going off of the anime as I don't read "Boruto" manga), he is a lot better of a dad than Sasuke.
