Oh yeah, the 'drunk' defense. Hope he gets the book thrown at him. |

Now see anime industry, this is the sort of shit that should get people ostracized, not doing a bit of nose candy.

Are you saying slapping someone is moredangerous than supporting and importing drugs and cartels? |

I'm saying that a grown adult deciding to put a substance into their body in their own home is a lesser issue than assaulting someone else. But hey, possessing child porn just gets you a slap on the wrist, right? |

I don't know, I think keeping a country clean of drugs and in turn help keep away all the illegal activities associated with it is far more important than some minor assualt crimes. |

What a dummy.
Takes me back to when "scandal" for AAA was when they sprayed graffiti on a rock during a photo shoot near Baltimore. |

Even if you don't finance a criminal organization's operation by purchasing the drugs they produce they'd still make money doing far worse things such as human trafficking, selling people's organs on the black market, or trapping someone into debt via gambling or some other means.
Eventhough in retrospect it doesn't mitigate far worse crimes such as sexual assault and murder. But yet Japan treats drug use/possession as far worse than either of those. |

"He was drunk and didn't remember it."
Yeah...that's the same excuse Tsunenori Aoki (from Kamen Rider Gaim) used last year when he groped assaulted/groped a woman...twice (and now his career's probably over). I wonder how often people pull that out. |

Whenever this happens, I feel bad for co-stars and other bandmates.

Actually the guy was trying to chat up with the girl!
Well that's not entirely true. I know capital punishment is still practised in Japan and I think is only used on special cases for those found guilty of murder. Granted I totally agree that they are far more strict towards drug use/possession, but celebrities still do face legal punishment or get ostracized for things like assault, sexual harassment, and even incident behaviour due to alcohol. |
