What a totally bland and generic new OP. The party really is over.

After today's episode, I needed this.

Asian Kung-Fu Generation still making good anisongs. It can't beat Kaen, but it's still gonna be a jam.

I like Asian Kung-Fu Generation. I’m not familiar with Eve... From what I heard of the ED song, it does sound good.

spoiler[Tahomaru looks pretty attractive with one eye... It’s a shame he inherited his dad’s stupid eyebrows. ]

Well that sucks Sad I loved the first opening a lot, one of my favorites of the season.

This is the kind of development that makes me think the producers accidentally stumbled their way into getting something so good in the first place.

Hopefully it's not too late for them to reverse course.

AKFG or not the new OP is by comparison a downgrade. Just stick with Kaen.

The ending is good though atleast on par with the previous.

Some of you guys really think it’s possible for them to change openings just because it pales in comparison to the first? I’m not sure if you guys are familiar with much anime, but it’s not a rare occurrence for second openings to not be on par with the first. It’s something you just have to deal with. Or simply skip....

It's possible, it's not likely. I'm also very aware that the second OP's generally suck, which is why you'd think production committees would stop waisting money on bad 2nd Acts and just ride the show ponies that hype their show they best.

Asian Kung Fu Generations is a great band and I'll be glad to hear them in an anime again. But I wonder if they'll actually record a new song for Dororo or if they'll do like they did with Erased and use an older song.

It seems they recorded a new song. The title is "Dororo"

Damn that anime is good. But its opening and ending are so bad. First one was already bad, but at least it was original. Here it just seem bland.

I am glad to hear that Dororo is continuing for a bit longer being that I have been loving it so far. From what it looked like it seem the story was coming to an end, but apparently not quite yet. Looking forward to the new season of this show next month.

The 1969 version had 26 episodes and was actually rushed at the end, so I was glad when I found out the remake would also be 2 cour. It would be easy to avoid the '69 version's pitfall of filing too much of the second cour with nonessential monster-of-the-week episodes.
