In fact, the sisters' hair has the same golden red color. Their hair seems different due to the fact that it depict the difference in their characters, visible only to the audience. It is difficult to explain in detail without spoilers, but something like this.

This has nothing to do with the show but, why does everyone here keep saying it's a "barren wasteland" for shows this season? There's like fifteen shows I'd consider good quality including two or three that are in the running for the top 5 anime of the year. Even this dumb harem show is a cut above the usual schlock. Like I've experienced dead seasons, this ain't one of them.

In this case it's probably half tongue-in-cheek because they're talking about a silly harem anime, and half because it's the winter season and winter is cold and barren (in some heavily-populated areas of the northern hemisphere). Ironically, given my Clannad-reference username, I don't have any interest in harem anime anymore, "ironically" or otherwise. They're all essentially the same, much like these quintuplets. But even with this anime making fun of its own lack of variety, people still have Best Girls who they will defend to the death (...ironically? maybe?). I usually take having a favorite character in a show to mean that I don't like the show itself, but can tolerate it for that one character. Apparently that's not how most people think. |

spoiler[ she literally LIES to his face about something while disguised as another of the sisters to try and increase her chances of ending up with him.] miku is 2nd best girl and its between her and nino imho. |

Quintuplets has been a pretty mild series, so I'm not sure why you'd be expecting serious heart-to-heart conversations between it's characters so early on in it's run, especially when Uesugi and Itsuki have been so prickly toward each other up to this point. They both have the self-awareness to realize that they were wrong and the decency to put it behind them, but they're both too prideful to apologize so directly, as much as they would like to.
And please, Yotsuba is best girl. |

I had a good laugh at that as well. Dororo, Mob Psycho, Kaguya, Neverland, Shield Hero (well, we know their feelings on that one), Roommate...Quintuplets and Domestic in there also, not a weak season by any means. |

Absolutely. I was gonna say that "N-I-N-O" is a funny way to spell Yotsuba... Mind you, Miku is still Best Waifu. |
