Even if This Light Novel Is Amazing has moved on, the fans still remember the dream.

I'm sad that Hinomaru Zumou isn't there. I hope that the anime can motivate people to read the manga. It's just THAT good.

I've been waiting years to watch Hamazura do increasingly-improbable Hamazura stuff. He's one of the few light novel characters that I can look at and think, "yeah, I can totally understand why a harem of girls formed around this guy."

Yay! Another season of Index biting Touma for things that aren't his fault, all the while wondering why he isn't remotely interested in her romantically....almost as if there is some correlation there...but naw....TIME FOR HAREM ANTICS!! AWWW YEAH!!!

Not to be a negative nancy, but I don't think many of you older fans will enjoy Index III quite as much as you think you will. Simply put, I don't think Index hold up or has aged well. The harem antics are annoying and so is the titular character. I was hoping people would keep their expectations to a minimum, but this article dashes that hope.

I recently watched all of Index and cannot understand why the show has so much excitement built around it. Not that it is bad, but it is not great either. I don't have any nostalgia for the show, and maybe that is why I don't understand. In the end, keep your expectations minimal here, most of you have grown up and perhaps you'll be disappointed Index hasn't done the same.

Touma always came off as annoyingly self-righteous - even back when the first series was first airing - so that's just a case of who he's always been, not a case of the franchise not aging well. There are good reasons why Mikoto has consistently outshone both Touma and Index in popularity polls over the years and why many franchise fans (including me!) like the Railgun series more.

So yeah, I, at least, am definitely not going in with inflated expectations but am still highly-anticipating it.

Glad to see Karakuri Circus on there: Ushio & Tora was a pleasant surprise, so I'm looking forward to this too. It's not my most anticipated show of the season, but it's definitely interesting.

Part of the hype has to do with the fact that the first two seasons of Index only covered the first 13 volumes of a 40 volume light novel series that many fans - myself included - didn't think hit its stride until Volume 15. Laughing

I don't know about the rest of you, regarding Index, but...

the less I see of Kuroko, the better.
