So even the VAs who worked on the series for 8 years have no idea what the hell is Nasu doing this time. I like where this is going those new elements wthat weren't in the games are exciting ^^

Well, this way at least, it certainly won't be boring as I found the original game to be.

To say I'm worried about the future of this adaptation would be kind of understating it.
Ignoring my thoughts of the first episode so far, which aren't exactly positive to put it nicely, this overly cryptic way it's all getting handled really isn't helping with trying to stay optimistic.

Coincidentally, Western fans are just as clueless as to the licensing situation of this show.

One thing that won't be confusing is this: under current Amer. copyright law, post-1978 made titles go into the public domain the shorter term of 95 years from publication or 120 years from creation. So, legalized fansubs of this show will be available to our great-grand-kids someday.

I thought Netflix got this, which means it'll follow the Apocrypha pattern.
Gotta love Tange's interpretation of 'cute' Saber, and it's not just that kinda moe cute the way I see it, but somehow twisted yet lovely. Well, just from the few lines I heard in the trailer.
And here I'm musing Shaft's surreal look and treatment must help a lot (in not understanding anything)

Yup. Definitely a SHAFT anime. Looks like they hit all the notes right.

By then Disney will have have passed perpetual copyrights and abolished "public domain." Read Spider Robinson's "Melancholy Elephants" which accurately predicts the inevitable creative heat death of the universe.
