I don't care about the slurping sound at all, what I want to know is how they slurp without splashing the soup everywhere! lol

Speaking for myself, as is sadly my wont, I would prefer it if Nissin's research were dedicated to making instant rice meals more palatable instead. (Never have I been fond of the noodle variety.)

That's what I was wondering about. It seems in the ad they hold the cup up to their chin to eat, unlike western soup eating tradition where the bowl stays on the table.
