Yup, I'm remaining hopeful. Anime producers love to make announcements at live events!

I like the idea of Reigen writing an autobiography (that will paint him as a great, powerful psychic, of course!)

Pretty sure that they're going to announce the second season at the end of the March 18 screening/event...
