I am surprised Made in Abyss did not even make this list. Well written anime series often flop DVD/BD sales wise, but there was talk of it potentially doing ok. Perhaps next week could be better because the SAO movie dominated sales this week.

On a positive note Princess Principal did good.

This is what I would call a very strong week. Wow.
Most notable to me is TsukigaKirei pulling in 5500 BD box sales. I didn't expect that show to actually do well, but I'm quite happy. Princess Principal, New Game, and Saekano pulling in strong numbers as well, and before anyone laments Re:Creator's position, 2k is more than enough to make back their money considering the streaming deals they had. If it continues to average around that, I would easily call it a success.

*Please be successful Made In Abyss. PLEASE!

If it wasn't for the revelation Asuna finally spoiler[bore her nipples in the movie], why the spike in the SAO movie sales?

Movies generally sell much better than TV series since you're usually getting a lot more bang for your buck.

I'm a bit surprised that Eromanga Sensei brought in some very-impressive numbers! Surprised

Is katsugeki picking up on sales? Will it reach Hanamarus levels of sales by the end of its DVD run? Hmm
