It probably launched in 2004 - the first volume was published in March 2005 so the serialization must has started more than three months earlier since it was in a monthly magazine. Unfortunately, the official site only goes back as far as May 2005 on archive.org. English Wikipedia says 2002, but that is unsourced and I doubt it is correct (unless a one-shot came out years before the serialization or something). Oh, wait.. Ichijinsha itself only came into existence in 2005; Issaisha was the original publisher for Comic Zero-Sum.
