Given the current political climate we have in D.C., I don't think it was a good idea to host Otakon there this year.

Just because things are tense in the government doesn't mean the actual city is affected by it. It's not like riots are going to break out. There is usually some tension anyhow. You could have said the same thing 8 years ago and you could likely say it 8 years from now. |
