FIYAAAAA! Referring to the 2D artwork more than the 3D one, btw.

Wow, that's actually a really cute swimsuit! Most companies (especially Hot Topic's swimsuit line) can never really nail a specific brand or design, but this is really nice-looking.

^ I agree. I'm a bit embarrassed to say it, but I would totally buy that swimsuit.

If only there wasn't such a discrepancy size-wise between Japan and the U.S., then I would totally go for it.

I am down for cosplay themed swimsuit that are in fact practical as a swimsuit and look "close enough" to the cited material.

This is really catching a lot of attention, though some people may be turned off by this.

Really, though, the size difference isn't that much. That's more-or-less what a small in America is as well.

Looks like from Tony Taka's design. Say, Sakuya swimsuit from Shining Blade?

It would be more scandalous if it was a Catholic nun-style swimsuit.

Have to say, neither the illustration or the actual suit say "Miko" to me. If someone didn't know what they were referencing they would just see a red and white bikini.

As someone of a larger size, finding imported clothing, especially special crossover brand deals with anime merch, is much harder for me since they don't usually make anything in a large enough size...

I was thinking it'd be hilariously messed up if there was a nun-themed swimsuit myself. Then again, mikos may be the closest equivalent to a nun, but there are a lot of major differences too, most of which are centered around how seriously they take their jobs and how your typical miko is far younger than your typical nun.
Perhaps a closer equivalent, attitude-wise, is the Catholic schoolgirl? They are similarly fetishized in the west.
