Yamakan opens a separate crowd funding site just for Chinese fans, I guess THAT really help though

Wow, I'm legitimately surprised at this. With all his recent comments that make him sound like a prick, his project still meets its goal. I can't believe this.

Pretty amazing that Yamakan's Twilight project has reached its goal, considering that sheer controversy that has surrounded him in recent months.
Now that the crowdfunding has been a success, I'm waiting to see how the development of Twilight will play out...

Looks like Seiji Mizushima and Hideki Kamiya was part of the 865 people who donated. Well good for them that they reached the goal. Anime will be save again.

Normally I am not one to wish for one's crowdfunding project to fail, but his comments were a reason I wish it had failed.
