Its a bad show.

I don't know why this is news when its for such a terrible role that nobody probably cares about.

Yeah, I didn't want to be the kind of guy to complain about news, but I saw the headline, was confused, and thought, "What an odd thing to see on ANN."
I'm not familiar with the seiyuu, and I didn't watch the show past the pilot because I thought it was AWWWWWFULLLLLL and I'm a guy who's easily satisfied with shows and movies.

I mean, Miyano Mamoru is a big voice actor with a lot of female fans. I can see why it would be noteworthy to some people.

Modern audience: THIS SHOW/MOVIE/SONG IS OLD!! I CAN'T WATCH IT!!

Studio remakes it

Modern audience: Okay, it's new, I'll watch it.

I really hate 2000's and 2010's.

Besides, Japanese voice actors also dubs foreign stuff like everyone else around the world, not just anime or Japanese-only stuff. That's the reason why the news are relevant.

Too bad Japanese dubbing of live action U.S. productions is just as awkward as the U.S. dubbing over live action Japanese stuff.

No, they weren't.

In fact, Miyano made his seiyuu debut in a foreign TV series.
