. . . . I hadn't realized "season 9" was a thing that existed outside of certain Shonen Jump (and Shonen Sunday) titles.
I'm sort of disappointed that it's this.

I'd be fine if Teekyuu never ended.

I know it's a pipe dream, but it would be amazing if Sentai or Discotek could license this series. It's incredibly under-rated by the US anime community, and it deserves all the exposure it can get.
As I recall, the last season made it onto my year-end "Top 5 Shows of 2016" list.

This anime just will not die. This is probably the best short anime in the history.
Honestly though, this would have been one of my most favorites if it was not for that certain spin-off.

This is the difference between japanese audience and west weeboos. Japanese people like shit like this, and weebos would only watch some mainstream productions.

Work with second season of Berserk is done, Itagaki going for his dose of cure again.
Seems fair.

We should bear in mind that by the metric of net running time, there is still less of Teekyuu in existence than a typical single-cour anime.
I can see this show continuing indefinitely: whereas most programmes are deemed to be in ill health when their storylines grow disjointed, abrupt and ad hoc, such qualities have been Teekyuu's defining features from the outset.
