I'm excited! My wife and I are going to be doing a lot of walking around the college town tomorrow to catch some Pokemon; hoping to get an Umbreon and Espeon.
Pokemon Go isn't fun enough to keep me constantly playing, but it's low maintenance enough to just pick up and play for a little while at a time after it updates.

Nice, I'm happy generation 2 has rolled out now and also there being baby Pokémon (I'm assuming the rest are) available in eggs is pretty cool

Well it's about time that they started rolling out gen 2 even if Pokémon Go is no where near as popular as it once was.

About time they did this, because the game would feel stale otherwise.
Gonna look forward to seeing Tyranitar in the Gyms near my place while I still can.

So ecstatic that the Gen II Pokémon are finally appearing!
I wonder how Eevee will evolve into Espeon/Umbreon in Pokémon GO...

For those interested, it's ONLY Baby pokemon (yes, Togepi is included in that), and they only hatch from eggs. You're not gonna be finding them in the wild, and Eevee doesn't have further evolutions.
Also, the article doesn't mention the Festive Pikachu that's been added as well, available until the 29th.

I was really hoping they'd add new Eeve evolutions. I had been hoarding my Eeves for this update. Oh well, guess there's now more incentives for me to hatch eggs so I can-hopefully-get a Pichu or Togapi.

This is quite underwhelming. Sure, I'm glad to see Pokemon that aren't G1... but only a few and only through egg-hatching?
It's kind of pathetic that it was only G1 to begin with. Pokemon moved beyond G1 17 years or so ago.

The developers should include G2 Pokemon as soon as possible, else they risk themselves to fall from grace.

Just what we need. More pokemon for "Pokemon Go." I just hope the rest of the world can handle this.
