Since it was posted in the article I wanted to point out the unfortunate:
FAKKU never reached the tier goal on Kickstarter to fund these redraws, so the Urotsukidoji release will use the original artwork. |

The guy's cool and everything, but it'd be nice to see some other artists brought in. I guess that's an issue when 99.9% of them can't even write in English, let alone speak it. There's basically one who can, and his work is independent from Fakku, mainly being doujinshi about gyaru futanari.

FAKKU regularly brings in guests for AX. This past year it was Napata, and Saitom, and the year before it was Bosshi. Guides and translators are provided for Japanese guests. This is however the first time FAKKU is bringing a guest over outside of a convention and instead to a local comic shop in their city. |

It's great to see both the CBLDF, FAKKU & Toshio Maeda teaming together to help protect artistic freedom in the manga industry.

Wait, is the new edition coming out soon? I could not invest during the campaign, but I would like to purchase the books.
I hope I don't ask too late (if it is a limited print), where can people not resident in the USAs order them currently?
Thank you. edit: my God, this is cheaper than the kickstarter but still pretty expensive for a paperback edition. (I supported a french hardcover 4 tomes edition for Georgie and it was far less expensive, around 15€/volume). Well, I suppose I can give it a try for the first book. Kickstart backers are starting to get the first round of copies but people are able to preorder from the fakku store. https://store.fakku.net/pages/urotsukidoji-legend-of-the-overfiend Fakku ships internationally, and there is one UK online bookseller who stocks FAKKU books but I'd have to look them up for you. Rightstuf also carries the books, but I don't believe any retailers outside of FAKKU are doing preorder at the moment. It's not a limited run and FAKKU does do reprints on books when stocks get low so I think you're ok for a while. |

While it's good that Mr. Maeda's coming to Portland,do we really need to have all of "Urotsukidoji" in English? I know it's to help the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, but from what I've heard of this manga,I think it's better left untranslated. It's not really something that deserves to be translated, you know what I mean?
