Nice promo. It captured the emotions well and the animation quality seems to be top notch. I heard the movie is 2 hours+ so hoping for the best. This was one of my favorite manga that I've read before so I got high expectations for it.

That was some good PV and in my opinion it could be a good rival against "your name" movie which was also darn awesome and full with emotions. Really cant wait to watch this one.

Nearly cried from watching PV. That's some powerful stuff. Hope they can get this to theaters in Canada as soon as possible.

Wow I'm really loving these PV's the way the scene shots have been taken with the animation style is really good and I'm loving the theme song even more so now.
Also just it probably doesn't matter much since they basically mean the same thing but I've now noticed that in the trailer the song is written as 'Koi wo shita no wa' (恋をしたのは) but the article and previous other ones say 'Ai wo shita no wa' (愛をしたのは)

How is it a bad adaptation? The author himself is telling the Studio what to do.

Sold! The combination of Naoko Yamada and Kyoto Animation will prove to be splendid. I fully expect that the uneven pacing of Tamako Love Story, which is the only matter I can hold against such a film, will be overcome in this longer project.
Feature-length high-school romances that are all but guaranteed to bring a familiar mist to my eye are in vogue this year. With Anthem of the Heart and Your Name enjoying a contemporaneous release with this film, I am almost chomping at the bittersweet bit to see them.

I hope they include that extra manga chapter as a booklet in the overseas release.

Oh man this looks great. Good studio, solid staff, and the animation and art look fantastic. (Song is meh but its not a big issue) I haven't read the manga but I have been curious about it for a while.

I still hope someone like GKids brings it over here, and give it a theater run as well.
Hmm, if by any chance this gets licensed and dubbed, I wonder if it's possible to hire a deaf voice actress to do Shouko's voice.
