We found out what happened to Kon from Bleach! He changed his name to Gaogao-chan and moved to the Poco's Udon World manga/anime franchise! Laughing

Can someone reassure me that there is absolutely no hint of any sort of romance between the teenage boy and the toddler so that I can look forward to watching a cute show without feeling squicked out? Somebody out there must read the manga and know for sure! Thanks in advance!

This season we had the slice-of-life-food-themed anime with the loli, now we'll have an slice-of-life-food-themed anime with a shota, how brilliant. Laughing
Jokes aside, I'm liking the VA's and the overall feeling of the show, I think it'll be a good one to watch to pass the time, just like Sweetness and Lightning.

Lol, I haven't read any of the manga, but I know what happens. I can just pretend that doesn't exist, since the anime doesn't go there, if I need to. But, honestly, I'm curious enough to want to read it for myself. Sometimes the whole "forbidden love" thing is kind of fun.

That young man in the PVs is supposed to be 30?! No way! I know anime is bad at representing aging, but making a 30-year-old look like a teenager is a bit of misrepresentation. Also, it doesn't alleviate my concern about the awful potential of romance between the 30-year-old protagonist and the yokai who looks like a toddler. For all you know, they'll say the yokai is really thousands of years old and it's all good. Damn, knowing the MC is supposed to be 30 makes it worse.

Not it doesn't. Also he Japanese so even in anime he will look young. Dude chill out there are plenty of 30 year old anime guys where they take care of a young child but involve nothing romantic. Seriously if you are that paranoid go ask a manga forum -_-
