I don't think I saw this mentioned(memory is fuzzy) in the WoFF articles in June on ANN, but just in case.

Far more charm and intriguing and easy to grasp gameplay shown in these trailers than anything I've seen from FFXV (nee FFXIII Versus) in the last decade since it's been coming out. It's amazing how crisp, polished and concise on what it wants to be and yet how bloated, bogged down with excess and confused different FF projects can be depending on the team involved. I swear something about an FF title being a mainline one seems to make Square Enix think it needs to spend excessive amounts of resource, planning, replanning and promotional ideas on it while things like Bravely Default and World of Final Fantasy seem more than content and capable of being crowd pleasers with what looks like nothing more than simple efficiency and clarity of vision with a development team and it's oversight (in that it appears to have actually had it internally) clearly all being on the same page from day one to nearing release. Good stuff.
