I knew it!I
I just couldn't believe, couldn't accept that Yen Press didn't announce this at AX. I kept feeling that this announcement would come, and it did! And it's getting released in December too - I couldn't have asked for a better Christmas present
I also expected this (except for my seventh sense) because of Kadokawa's giant share in Yen Press, and Bungou being one of their more popular manga.
Also, it's great that they got Erased. Going to be picking that up too!

I'm sure they'll look nice on my shelf, but man, those are going to be a pain to read.

Nice! Looking forward to Bungo Stray Dogs! And it has good timing with the first volume coming out right at the end of the second cour. I'll probably pick up Erased at some point too.

I was shocked when Bungou Stray Dogs wasn't announced at AX. Although, to be fair my excitement about Rokka no Yuusha being licensed was easily able to overcome that. This being said, I'm super excited to hear about this license and Erased's.

I'm with you there. Having Erased in two gorgeous omnibus volumes will be nice, but it does seem like it could be cumbersome to read.

Ah, excellent! I really wanted to check out Erased, I was afraid that Aniplex's overpriced release would be it. Also, I tend to go for whatever was made first, which is the manga in this case, so it's win win for me!
This actually isn't their first 4 volumes in one omnibus: the Another manga is one too. It actually works better than you think (and than I thought too, for that matter). But I do agree, I think maybe 3 hardbacks of just under 3 volumes each would probably work better for readers overall.

Great news! Was surprised that the Erased manga wasn't picked up, so I guess they saved it for last. I like how they are doing it in hardcover omni, too!

Hi all, sorry for the confusion--ERASED will be in four omnibus volumes, not two.

Okay, any of you who have only seen the anime for Erased, you need to read the manga. Once it hits the time skip, it's completely different, and the manga is way better.

I'm not thrilled about it being hardcover. Not only will it cost more, I find hardcovers cumbersome and awkward to read.

I just hope that the ERASED manga is better than the anime. I gave it a 4/10. Also Hard cover? Yen press is starting to piss me off recently. First they make Baccano a hard cover and now ERASED? there is no reason to make these series hardcovers except for the fact that they wanna charge you more money. If they are going to make them hardcovers and charge more, make them look like the Hardcovers from Vertical (Kizumonogatari) or Viz Media (Monster) Its just so awkward reading a 200 page book with a thick cover like that. Or at least have a Hardcover or Papercover option.

YES! Ask and you shall receive! Now to start asking for the Joker Game novels to be licensed.

Yen Press has made me happy with a couple of their announced titles, those being the Rokka LNs and now the ERASED manga! Add in Seven Seas grabbing Dreamin' Sun, and I'm a very happy guy with these licenses.

I honestly never got the tremendously big deal over that anime. It just felt kind of....I don't know, typical to me. There was just nothing in it theme, character or plot wise that I haven't seen done better before and it didn't even feel like what it had going came together all that way. I guess people are just really suckers for the whole travelling back in time and saving a sad girl in the snow from dying and comically bad parenting stories and there's no way for a show that contains those elements to be received as anything less than an absolute masterpiece or something. Just never did much for me, very average show at best in a sub-genre that's kind of becoming over-saturated now.
