Well I Thoroughly enjoyed the Anime series how ever I haven't read the manga since unfortunately it's not in English.

I own the first two volumes in Japanese, but they won't do me much good except to look at the nice pictures. Sadly I doubt we'll ever get this in English. It's hard enough to market this over in Japan, since it's a big attack on the anime industry, let alone over here where said attack doesn't even make any sense so the franchise just looks like a bunch of weird nonsense.

I always figured Seven Seas has a better chance of bringing that over since they're more willing to bring over yuri titles than any other manga company. And not to mention, I heard the manga is a far more different take than the anime.

The promotional artwork (and OP for that matter) are in heavy contrast with the content of the show and manga themselves. You know how Madoka pretends to be moe? Yuri Kuma Arashi pretends to be hentai. (Spoiler: It is not.)

... That doesn't sound like the show I watched...

Yes, because the manga has a different story.
The judges are humans now who have shared dreams in which they take the form of bears due to their subconscious, to name just one example.
