The key visual looks nice, I kinda like it. Really hoping they show an animated PV as well but I'm going to keep my hopes up for this.

Hoping that the story will flow nicely, based on the premise and magazine descriptions. Mari Okada is a competent writer, but sometimes her tone falls a little close of being melodramatic, in a story like this one, being too dramatic may not be a good thing.
Still, parying for the best, hope this show will deliver |

Huh, this is coming out a lot sooner than I thought it would. The character designer's style has grown on me but that alone isn't enough to starve off my worries given the hit and miss nature with both Trigger and Mari Okada (I haven't seen all of her stuff but of the stuff I have seen it's been hit or miss with me.) I hope it's good, or at the very least doesn't create the kind of venomous backlash that I've seen other shows get.

I really like Trigger and Mari Okada but, the thing that worries me is the personality of some of these characters. Four characters are basically described as emotionless or cold people and that can keep people (myself included) from enjoying this series even if the story is good if it isn't handled well. I like a lot of works by Mari Okada (Anohana, Tora Dora, Nagi no Asukara, Wandering Son, etc) so I can do nothing but trust her and hope she will deliver with this new show.

I love Mari Okada so I'll watch this...but I have mixed feelings about Trigger in general. Favorite anime from them for me was Inou Battle...which was their most "standard".

There's way too much stuff coming in spring, is the rest of the year gonna be a wasteland or what? I'm concerned that I won't have enough time to follow all the shows that I'm interested in

Well this is sooner than I expected also kind of ironic that Ninja Slayer Premiered around the same time last year in spring.

Apparently Sushio is the Chief Animation Director on this, so I'm more interested now. This spring has too many damn shows.
