If Idea Factory is planning on releasing the PC version on the same day as the PS4 version over here, I can actually play it day one since I still have yet to get a PS4 (even though I really ought to by now).

Well, now I know that VII is getting a PC port, there goes any reason for me to actually buy a PS4.

Nobody should be surprised by this. It'll come to PC months after the PS4 release.

I hope other JRPG developers see how popular JRPG sales can be on PC so they release them/port them over instead of making them console exclusives. I really dislike that a multiple of JRPGs I'm interested in playing are on consoles I don't own (PS4/Vita), and I don't want to buy an entirely new console JUST to play those games.

I'd expect so, since there's less of a technical barrier with the PS4 being so similar to a PC. The Steam community's willingness to buy Neptunia games will probably play a factor since they're one of the early adotors of this stategy.

While it's great that this is coming to PC, I assuming it's gonna be Steam only. I really wish that all of these PC ports come to GOG too. Oh well, gotta go where the money's at.

Actually, Re;Birth 1 has been available on GOG for some time now. The other Re;Birth games might arrive there in the future as well.

Appreciate the heads up. I picked up Trails in the Sky awhile back and was waiting for another jrpg to show up on GOG. Now, if GOG can pick God Eater and Valkyria Chronicles, that'd be great.
