The fact that this is out and I can't buy it makes me incredibly sad inside.

They better hurry up with the anime (and the dub) before I explode from anticipation and spoiler-avoidance.

Funimation has done some incredible things dub wise but I'm worried about Steins;Gate 0. The guy who played Okabe/wrote the script said it was extremely hard and tiring when dubbing the first season. I would be astounded if they broadcast dubbed it.

"The guy" is J, Michael Tatum. He has also received praise for his Kuroshitsuji and Spice & Wolf roles. He is notable for being openly.

J Michael Tatum can do it. He is the man. Believe in him.

I think the reason behind that is because of the constant time traveling and switching world lines. That's what made it complicated and tiring for him. Not sure if Steins;Gate 0 will have the same issues though.

Has Funimation even released the movie yet? Definitely wouldn't count on them doing anything worth while with 0 anytime soon.

My first exposure to Steins;Gate was the visual novel, which I ended up completing with both endings twice, once alone and twice with a friend. The anime was solid but noticeably truncated. Given how long it would take for a translation of the new VN, hopefully the new anime is good. I loved how subtly the new scenes in episode 23 showed up last week. Good start!

Anyone know what sort of bestselling numbers VN games do? I imagine the majority are well under this. But I am interested in knowing what numbers the best do?
