Hey Hey Brian, Guess what? That little Channel Called Razer is airing Samurai Champloo, and Cowboy Bebop on December 27:

Just a heads up!

Whoo 2006 is a great year for Anime in Canada.

Yes, and what astonishing news it is. Even though most people have seen Bebop, it's been the most puzzling absence from Canadian television this decade, and as a result, one of the most heavily demanded shows. I think we're one of the last countries in the western world to get it on TV.

What do you expect, it's Canada! Laughing

Seriously, though, from what I've head, it is. I've never actually seen the american rendition though.

Agreed. Lord knows why, but '06 has been an astronomical year for anime in Canada. Airing 3 series before the USA, getting 2 new netwroks that air anime, and aquiring the rights to a program that has no future in the USA. Hell, this year even marked the first time in...history(?) that Canada had more premiers than the USA in one week. To add to all that, the premier of THE most aniticipated TV anime in Canadian history falls in just before the year ends.

Well, The Click talkbacks have certainly reverted into endless Canadian gloating enough...

Of course, said program still isn't scheduled. I guess a January premiere is likely, but YTV seems really resistant to actually airing the series.

Now to say what I was just about to say yesterday before the server was shut down: #$%@! Why just when I lose my satellite (and to be honest, the possibilities of seeing it come back in the near future seem bleak)? It's so close, yet so far away...

That could be a double edged sword. Why? We're seeing Anime move into more Niche channels like G4, and Razer, if you were to ask me what Razer was in January I would have said something to do with Shaving, now I know better, worse off is the fact that we're getting/probally will an Anime Channel, moving Anime to be even futurer into Nicheness. To be quiet honest with you, I still had a hope that YTV would air Bebop at Midnight, Why? YTV has apeal, the fact that it's a cable network, YTV is well known. Still in my opinon the 2/3/4(T.A.C or Vrak for 3, and Vrak for 4, along with T.A.C) New Anime airing Networks is a double edged sword, Anime gets More Coverage on Canadian TV, but on Niche, and some unknown Digital Cable Channels.
