I think they might have a better chance of getting the project met if they initially had it at least for 60 days.

Love a lot of the seiyuu involved (Hocchan, Wakamoto, Kobayashi, etc) so I pitched in a bit mainly to hear a bit more from them.

After seeing this and Coluboccoro, it makes the Under the Dog Kickstarter look pretty pathetic. instead of moaning about how bad they have it, and talking up their project like some blessing from the heavens. These other 2 have just gone "Hello we make and love animation, this what we want to make, this is how much it will cost and this is how it will work, thank you.

I agree. Though I do support and like Under The Dog, Chuya-den and Kenji Itoso's campaigns (Santa Company, Coluboccoro) seem much more honest and less pretentious. It doesn't help that so much went wrong behind the scenes of Under The Dog.
On the other hand, they lack really good marketing. I've been following YOSHIKO and Chuya-den since January when the project was first publicly announced, and he's been putting a lot of effort into spreading the word about Chuya-den and informing the people about the project and his passion for it, despite the language barrier. I've had some short conversations with him, and he's a very likable and approachable person.
I support him very much, but I'm kinda worried Chuya-den lacks the mainstream appeal and publicity of other works like Under The Dog. I'll be very sad if this project doesn't come to frutition, and I really hope there are enough people out there supporting this project. Some of the rewards are awesome, by the way – getting a cameo appearance in the movie, for example.
Thanks for the news, ANN, I'm happy about every coverage Chuyaden gets!

That looks really cool.
Liking the art style and nice piece of music too.
Good staff, I've also liked some of their previous work, and Japanese VAs, great stuff.
And going for dual audio with some nice VAs if they can make the first stretch goal as well, nice.
I'll back this.
